Octaro

Switch tools without losing a month

Clients, contacts, deals, employees, cost grids: migration runs from your exports, company by company, and is checked before the switch.

How a migration goes

  1. The exports

You export clients, deals, employees and timesheets from your current tool (vsActivity, Boond Manager, an ERP or spreadsheets).

  2. The take-over import

Octaro imports each file, reports line by line what is missing or contradictory, and creates nothing until everything passes.

  3. One month in parallel

Consultants declare in Octaro; you compare the month's invoicing and margin with the old tool.

  4. The switch

The next month Octaro is the source. History stays readable, the old tool can be cancelled.

Coming from…

vsActivity

Octaro was built to replace vsActivity in our own firm: its notions (timesheets, deals, T&M, fixed price) map one to one.

Boond Manager

No price per manager: a manager-heavy firm pays the same price per employee.

Spreadsheets

Migration starts from your files as they are: we shape them with you.
